On-the-Go Throw

Problem
Possible Reason
Possible Solution
After a few seconds of being on, it shuts off. It does not stay on long enough to heat up.
  • Battery may not be fully charged
  • Battery connection may not be secure
  • Battery button may have been accidentally double-clicked, turning the battery off
  • Fully charge using the charger supplied with the product
  • Ensure all connections are fully inserted
  • Disconnect and reconnect the battery, then press the battery button until the white LEDs illuminate
Battery does not hold the charge for more than 30 minutes
  • Battery may not have been fully charged
  • Throw may be on the highest heat setting
  • Battery may not be functioning properly
  • Fully charge before testing
  • Test on a lower heat setting
  • If runtime remains approximately 30 minutes after a full charge, contact Customer Care
Battery does not fully charge or charge at all
  • Charging connector may not be fully inserted
  • Battery may be in standby/shutdown mode
  • Battery or charger may not be functioning properly
  • Use the charger supplied with the product and ensure it is fully inserted
  • White LEDs should flash while charging and become solid when fully charged
  • Reconnect charger and press battery button
  • If no charging indicators appear, contact Customer Care
Green light stays on; 4 white LEDs do not turn solid when fully charged
Charging connector may not be fully inserted into the battery port
  • Ensure the charger supplied with the product is fully inserted
  • White LEDs should flash while charging and become solid when fully charged
Battery indicates full charge but will not turn throw on / throw will not get warm
  • Battery may be in standby/shutdown mode
  • Connection to throw may not be secure
  • Battery or throw may require evaluation
  • Disconnect and reconnect battery securely
  • Press battery button until white LEDs illuminate, then turn on throw
  • If it still does not heat, contact Customer Care
Heat-setting lights do not illuminate
  • Battery may be off or in standby mode
  • Battery may not be securely connected
  • Battery may require charging
  • Confirm battery is charged
  • Disconnect and reconnect securely
  • Press battery button until white LEDs illuminate, then turn on throw
Only certain areas of blanket get warm
Heating elements are strategically positioned to warm the upper body when used as a cape and the core when used as a throw
Normal operation; the entire surface is not designed to heat uniformly
Battery pack feels warm during use on settings 1 and 2
It is normal for the battery to feel warm to the touch during normal operation
No action required if only mildly warm with no damage, swelling, unusual odor or excessive heat
Battery overheating after approximately 20 minutes
Battery may not be operating normally
  • Turn product off immediately, disconnect battery and discontinue use
  • Do not recharge or reuse until Customer Care reviews the issue
Throw is not heating
  • Battery may have been accidentally turned off by double-clicking the battery button
  • Battery may have entered auto-shutdown mode after standby
  • Disconnect and reconnect battery, or press battery button until white LEDs illuminate
  • Turn throw on and select desired heat setting
Blanket stopped working after a couple uses
  • Battery may require charging
  • Connection may not be secure
  • Battery or throw may require evaluation
  • Fully charge battery
  • Disconnect and reconnect battery and confirm LEDs illuminate
  • If issue continues, contact Customer Care
Battery is fully charged but does not heat at all
  • Battery may not be supplying power
  • Connection may not be secure
  • Reconnect battery securely
  • Confirm LEDs illuminate and turn throw on
  • If still not heating, contact Customer Care
Battery is fully charged but does not heat for as long as indicated
  • Operating time varies by heat setting
  • Higher settings use more battery power
  • Fully charge before use
  • Use a lower heat setting to extend runtime
  • If runtime remains significantly shorter than expected, contact Customer Care
Battery charges but doesn't turn ON or OFF and doesn't heat the throw
Battery may be in standby mode or may not be responding properly
  • Disconnect battery from throw and charger, then reconnect
  • Press battery button and confirm white LEDs illuminate
  • If unresponsive, contact Customer Care
Throw does not hold a charge for more than an hour or two
Throw may be operating on the highest heat setting
Higher settings consume more battery power; select a lower setting to extend operating time
Packaging indicates up to 4 hours runtime and approximately 2.5-hour quick charge, but charge takes longer and runtime is approximately 1 hour
  • Runtime and charging time may vary by heat setting, remaining battery level and charging conditions
  • Throw may be on highest setting
  • Fully charge using supplied charger
  • Test on lower heat setting
  • If charging or operating time remains significantly outside expected range, contact Customer Care
When battery is connected, each light illuminates individually, then power flashes and throw stops working
  • Battery connection may not be secure
  • Battery may require reset
  • Disconnect and reconnect securely and press battery button until white LEDs illuminate
  • If issue continues after full charge, contact Customer Care
Lights do not come on during or after charging
  • Battery may be in standby/shutdown mode
  • Charging connection may not be secure
  • Ensure supplied charger is fully inserted
  • Disconnect and reconnect battery/charger and press battery button until white charging LEDs illuminate
4 white lights and 1 green light do not illuminate after full charge
Battery may be in standby/shutdown mode
  • Disconnect and reconnect battery, then press battery button until white LEDs illuminate
  • If no indicators appear, contact Customer Care
Battery pack is damaged
Battery has sustained physical damage
  • Do not use or charge battery
  • Keep disconnected from throw and contact Customer Care

Important Safety Note

If the battery is swollen, leaking, physically damaged, producing an unusual odor, excessively hot, smoking, or showing any other abnormal condition, immediately discontinue use, disconnect the battery if it can be done safely, and do not recharge or reuse it.
