Warranty

3-Year Limited Warranty Sunbeam warrants this heated bedding product (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (3) years from the original date of retail purchase, when used under normal household conditions and in accordance with all instructions, warnings, and care guidelines provided for the Product. This limited warranty applies only to new Products purchased from authorized retailers or authorized sellers and is valid only for the original purchaser and only if the manufacturers’ label is intact. This warranty is not transferable. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the Product. Valid proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service. Proof of purchase must clearly identify the retailer name, purchase date, and product identification.

During the 3-year limited warranty period, Sunbeam will, at its sole discretion, do one of the following if the Product is determined to be defective: Replace the Product, or Provide a one-time refund in an amount not to exceed the original purchase price of the Product.

The choice of remedy under this limited warranty is at the sole discretion of Sunbeam. This limited warranty does not cover: Products purchased as clearance-items, open-box, used, refurbished, or resale items; Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, third-party marketplaces, through an unauthorized distribution channel, a consumer-to-consumer transaction, barter, auction or from a liquidator; Product(s) received as a gift without valid proof of purchase from the original purchaser; Normal wear and tear; Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, improper voltage, transportation, storage, failure to follow product instructions or use contrary to the instructions; Damage resulting from disassembly, modification, tampering, or unauthorized repair; Damage caused by fire, flood, acts of God, accidents, external causes or events beyond the manufacturer’s control. Sunbeam reserves the right to deny warranty claims for any of the above-stated reasons including where inspection shows evidence of misuse, improper handling, tampering, or modification.
